Post Pixelation?
I have my website up and running, but I have a question about some of the images i have uploaded. Some images are kind of blotchy, and show a color cast. My images are RGB images, converted to b+w, and converted to a sepia image. I use Photoshop to convert the image to a web format photo. Not all the images exhibit this chracteristic when uploaded.
Any suggestions?

Did you make sure your images looked fine before you uploaded them to the web site? I cannot imagine how the software would degrade the images when uploading. Since you use PS for web publishing then my guess is that it is the color conversion that is messing with your images. I have used ASoft for more than 2 years now and I have not seen any problems with my uploads, so you need to look at the source of the images for the problem.

What resolution did you save them at?

What I do is this.

I first convert the size to 72DPI and then set the width or height to 7 or 8 inches max.

Then I convert the profile to Adobe sRBG. Once converted I do save for web at 60-70% and save it as a JPG.

That gives good results.
